ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Harshavardhan Reddy, who founded and spearheaded Vihara, is a young, spirited and insightful social activist, an erudite scholar and a gold medallist from the prestigious MIT School of Government, Pune. Harsha is a multi-faceted man with a mission to support the farming and rural community and transform rural schools into ideal centres of education, and ensure ideating and implementing several facilities in urban slums.
At an young age, he received the prestigious Young Achiever Award by Capital Foundation Delhi at the hands of Honourable Shri. Arif Mohammad Khan, Governor of Kerala, by recognising his social work.
He is now on a journey to set a new paradigm of inclusive growth and has begun his new venture into eco-friendly construction and make a difference. He aspires to create cohesive communities at a macro level while holding onto their local identities at an intimate scale; and build environmentally sensitive spaces that are affordable and socially secure.
